Short project at the Royal College of Art in collaboration with Retrouvius, I designed and made this coffee table from reclaimed materials.
Through its transformation, the Victorian tabletop has become an extension of its past life. We can imagine all the conversations, past and present, it has heard. The turning of the wood and the bold insertion of steel have given this table a contemporary lease of life.
Turning the Tables was exhibited at BASE.Milano for Milan Design Week 2025. It is currently showcased at the Roca Galley London for the Meanwhile Space exhibition.
